HERITAGE
Jumbo Group of Companies was founded on September 20, 1970 as an import company under the name International Jumbo Trading. The company has further developed as a sole proprietorship into the countries in the region and serves large department stores. The company has built a respectable name over the years and is known for quality and service. In 1995 they took over the well-known PEET turning and furniture factory. Also joining the manufacturing sector, Jumbo International is currently one of the leading business groups in Suriname.
In 2002, the Surinamese Jumbo Business Group was expanded with a new Jumbo Office Sector. Under the leadership of Viresh Baldew, Jumbo Office focuses on furnishing homes in general and offices in particular. In a short time, Jumbo Office has been able to provide many well-known companies, embassies, but also multinationals and government services, with state-of-the-art and ergonomic certified furniture according to modern international standards. Due to the synergy within the Jumbo Group of Companies, the Jumbo office naturally uses their services or products. Jumbo Office is a Surinamese company that orients itself internationally, for both suppliers and clients.
